Tokenized stocks are on-chain tokens issued by Ondo Global Markets that track the price of listed company shares. In Bron you can view them with the same market data you would expect from a stock page, and swap, transfer and deposit them like any other token on Ethereum. Bron does not issue tokenized stocks and does not hold, manage or control your assets at any time.
⚠️ Bron is a non-custodial software interface. Tokenized stocks are issued by Ondo Global Markets under Ondo's terms. They track the underlying share price but do not carry shareholder rights such as voting. Prices can fall as well as rise, and availability may vary by jurisdiction. Tokenized stocks are not available in the United Kingdom. Nothing in this article is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
What Tokenized Stocks Are
Each tokenized stock is a standard ERC-20 token on Ethereum. One token corresponds to a fixed number of shares of the underlying company, shown as Shares per token on the stock page, so the token price follows the share price. The token is created and backed by Ondo; the Ethereum network settles every transfer; Bron shows you the data and lets you sign transactions with your passkey.
Which companies are available is set by Ondo's catalogue and can change without a Bron release, so there is no fixed list to publish here — check the app.
How to Find a Stock
Step 1. Click the search bar at the top of the screen, or press ⌘ K (Ctrl K on Windows).
Step 2. Type the company name or ticker, for example Tesla or TSLA. The stock appears under Assets with its market cap and current price.
Step 3. Click the stock to open its stock page.
Tokenized stocks also appear in the Swap asset picker, on web and in the mobile app. Click the ☆ star on a stock to add it to your favourites.
What You Can Do
The stock page has three buttons:
Swap — get a tokenized stock by swapping another asset into it (for example USDT → TSLA), or swap it back. Swaps follow the same rules as any other swap: see Swap Crypto.
Transfer — send tokens to any Ethereum address, as with any ERC-20 token: see Sending Crypto.
Deposit — show your account's Ethereum address to receive tokens from another wallet.
There is no Buy or Sell button for tokenized stocks: those exist only for products such as mTBILL. To get a tokenized stock, swap into it.
Network fees are paid in ETH on Ethereum. If the account holds no ETH, Power Bank can cover the fee. Transaction limits apply to swaps and transfers of tokenized stocks like to any other transaction.
The Stock Page
The stock page replaces the usual token page for these assets.
Header and chart — company name and ticker, the exchange (for example NASDAQ), whether the market is open or closed, the Tokenized by Ondo badge, the current price and its change. The price chart can be switched between 1H, 1D, 1W, 1M, 6M, YTD, 1Y and All.
Key statistics — previous close, open, day range, volume, market cap, P/E (TTM), forward P/E, EPS (TTM), 52-week range, dividend yield, sector and exchange.
Financials — revenue and revenue growth, net income and net income growth, net margin, total assets, total liabilities and cash for the last four periods, switchable between Quarterly and Yearly. Figures come from company filings and are in USD.
About — a short company description and a link to the company's official website.
Earnings & dividends — the next earnings date, and for companies that pay dividends, the ex-dividend date and dividend history marked Auto-reinvested (see below). Rows without data are hidden.
Token details — expand it to see the token contract address (click to copy), shares per token, the issuer and a View on Ondo link to the issuer's page for the asset.
Market data is provided by third-party data sources and can lag the exchange. Your balance is shown as a share equivalent with up to 6 decimals, so the figure in the app may differ slightly from an exact share count.
Dividends
Dividends on tokenized stocks are not paid out in cash. Ondo reinvests them automatically, and the result is reflected in the share conversion rate — the number of shares one token represents. You do not need to do anything, and no separate dividend transaction appears in your history.
💡 The stock page's Dividend yield and dividend history describe the underlying company. They are market data, not a payout you receive from Bron or from the token.
Availability
Tokenized stocks are available on the Bron web platform and in the mobile app, on Ethereum only. Eligibility to hold or transfer them is governed by Ondo's terms and depends on your jurisdiction.
Tokenized stocks are not available in the United Kingdom. Swapping into or out of them is also blocked in some other regions. If you are in a restricted region, the swap button is replaced by Unavailable in your region.
