Sending Crypto

How to create a transaction and send crypto to your wallet or an external address.

How to send crypto on Bron:

On Desktop:

1. Access the Transfer Section

  • On the Bron web platform, navigate to the right-hand sidebar and click the Transfer button.

  • Select the asset you wish to send, the network, and the From account.

  • To send crypto from one of your hidden accounts, first enter your PIN in the search bar to reveal it.

You can send crypto in three ways:

  • By address — paste any external crypto address

  • To your own account — select another account within your Bron workspace

  • By Tag — enter a Bron Tag to send directly to someone you know

2. Choose a Destination Address

For the destination address, you can choose one of the following options:

  • Another account in your Bron workspace

  • An address saved in your Address Book

  • Any other crypto address (external wallet)

3. Enter Transaction Details

  • Specify the amount of cryptocurrency you want to send.

  • Set the transaction fee for the blockchain network — note that higher fees usually result in faster confirmation times.

⚠️ You can enhance the security of your assets by enabling Address Book Lock, which allows sending only to pre-saved and verified addresses.

4. Review Transaction Details

After completing the form, you will see a summary of the transaction.

Carefully review all the details, including:

  • The selected network

  • The destination address

  • The amount

If everything is correct, click Confirm to proceed.

⚠️ Once signed and submitted, transactions cannot be reversed.

5. Get Approvals from Your Teammates

If your workspace has transaction policies or limits that apply to this transaction, someone from your team will need to review and approve it before it can be executed.

Ping your teammates and ask them to sign in to Bron to approve the transaction.

6. Sign the Transaction with the Bron Desktop App

Your shard is securely stored in the Bron Desktop App. To complete the transaction:

  • Open the Bron Desktop App and click Sign on the transaction (if it's already approved).

  • The Bron Desktop App will launch automatically and request authentication (e.g., PIN or biometrics).

  • Once authenticated, click Sign to complete the signing process.

If you don't have the required shard for this account, notify the teammate who does so they can sign the transaction.

7. Broadcast and Check Transaction Status

Once the signing is complete, you'll see a confirmation in the Bron Desktop App that the transaction has been broadcasted.

You can check the transaction status and details in the Bron web platform or in the Bron Desktop App.

On Mobile:

Fee Policy Notice (Bron Wallet)

All transactions made through the Bron Wallet on Canton CC — including sends, swaps — will incur a fee of 2 Canton Coins (CC) per transaction.

Why Network Fees (Gas) Exist

Every blockchain transaction requires the network to perform computational work. Validators must verify the transaction, execute it, and record it on-chain.

Gas fees are the mechanism that pays for this work and protects the network from spam.

In short, gas fees:

  • Pay validators for processing transactions

  • Keep the network secure and reliable

  • Prevent abuse by making transactions costly at scale

Each network requires gas to be paid in a specific asset on that same network.

Which Gas Token You Need on Each Network

To successfully submit a transaction, you must hold the correct gas token on the same network you're using.
