What is Transfer by Tag?
Transfer by Tag allows you to send crypto assets or NFTs to another Bron user using their Bron Tag instead of entering a wallet address.
A Bron Tag is a unique identifier linked to a Bron account. When you send funds using a Tag, Bron automatically routes the transfer to the account connected to that Tag. This makes transfers easier and reduces the risk of mistakes caused by manually copying long wallet addresses.
Important Notice
Before sending a transfer using a Tag, always confirm the Tag with the recipient.
If you send funds to the wrong Tag, the transaction cannot be reversed once it is confirmed.
Your friend may also change their Tag over time, so it is recommended to double-check the Tag before every transfer.
Bron cannot recover funds that were sent to the wrong Tag.
Transfers by Tag are available only between Bron users.
By default, your Tag is connected to your first account, but you can change this at any time.
Tags are available on Mainnet only and are not supported on Testnet.
How Transfer by Tag Works
The sender selects Transfer in the Bron interface.
Instead of entering a wallet address, the sender selects Tag.
The sender enters the recipient’s Bron Tag.
Bron verifies that the Tag belongs to a valid Bron account.
The sender selects the asset, network, and amount.
After confirmation, the funds are sent to the account linked to that Tag.
Transfers using Tags work for crypto assets and NFTs.

💡When a Bron tag is linked to an account, that account is marked with an @ symbol in the interface. Assets sent to your tag (e.g. @brndemo) will be received in that linked account. You can change which account your tag points to at any time in Account Settings.
