Sign Up to a New Workspace

How to set up your Bron workspace — sign up with email, Google, or Apple, or accept an invitation.

There are two ways to start a new workspace on Bron: sign up directly from bron.org with email, Google or Apple, or accept an invitation from someone already on Bron. After the first step, the flow is the same.

1. Start Sign-Up

Option A — Direct sign-up. Go to bron.org and click Sign up. On the Let's get started screen you'll see three options:

  • Continue with Email — enter your address; we'll send a magic link to confirm it.

  • Continue with Google — sign up with your Google account.

  • Continue with Apple — sign up with your Apple ID.

💡 If you continue with Apple, choose "Hide my email" for extra privacy.

Option B — Invitation. If a teammate or friend invited you to Bron, open the invitation email and click Join now, then click Get Started on the welcome screen.

2. Add Your Name or Nickname

Bron is KYC-free, so we never ask for identity verification. Use your real name, a handle, or whatever you prefer — it's entirely up to you.

If you signed up with Google or Apple, your name is filled in automatically — edit it or keep it as is. Prefer something neutral? Tap generate a random nickname.

3. Create a Passkey

Now it's time to set up a passkey, which lets you sign in securely — without a password.

Passkeys are based on public-key cryptography (the same technology that protects websites and encrypted messages). You can store your passkey in iCloud Keychain, 1Password, Dashlane, a physical device like a YubiKey, or any other secure tool you trust.

4. Choose Your Bron Tag

After saving your passkey, you'll be prompted to choose your Bron Tag.

This is your unique identifier inside the Bron network — used for sending and receiving assets between Bron users via Transfer by Tag.

That's it! You've successfully created your new workspace and user account. You're in — but not ready to use crypto just yet.

Next up: we'll show you how to create your first account.
