Your Profile Settings let you manage your personal information, security preferences, notifications, and interface experience. You can access them via Settings → Profile Settings, or by clicking your profile avatar in the top right corner.
1. General
Here you can update your profile photo, edit your name, view your email address, and copy your User ID. You can also set an NFT from your account as your profile picture or tag avatar open the NFT, tap the ••• menu, and choose the relevant option.
2.0 Notifications
Choose which updates you receive by email including account activity, address book changes, approval requests, login activity, and transaction events. Each category can be toggled on or off independently.
3.0 UI Settings
Customize how the app looks and behaves: change the search mode and set your preferred time format (12-hour or 24-hour).
4.0 Changing Profile Email
If you need to change the email associated with your Bron Profile, this can be done in the desktop app.
Steps to change your email:
On your workspace dashboard, click your profile icon in the top right corner.
Select Profile Settings.
Click the Edit button next to your current email.
Enter your new email address.
Confirm the action with your passkey.
Check your new email inbox for a verification message and follow the instructions to confirm the change.
Your old email address will also receive a security alert notifying you of the change. If you did not request this, you can cancel it by clicking Open Bron to Cancel in that email.
Once you click Verify New Email, you will be prompted to confirm the change with your passkey once more. This will initiate a 24-hour security delay before the new email takes effect.
Once the security delay is over, your email will be updated and the new email will be displayed on the login page. Your old passkey will still work even though it shows your old email – you can leave it as is, or create a new passkey first and then delete the old one. A newly created passkey will display only your name, with no email attached.
