Bron Plans, Tiers & Trial

Personal tiers (Core, Premium, Private, Founders Club), Qualifying Balance, the Trial, and Business plans

Bron has two kinds of plans: Personal tiers, which are free and based on the value you hold on Bron, and Business plans, which are a paid subscription for organisations. This article explains how both work, what the Trial is, and what happens to the previous plans (Essentials, Pro, Business and Founders Club bought with $BRON or a subscription).

You can see all plans in the Bron app under Settings → Plans and billing → Compare plans, with a Personal and a Business tab.

1. Personal tiers

Bron is free to use as long as your workspace keeps the minimum Qualifying Balance for your tier. Hold more to unlock higher tiers and additional benefits. Any asset counts, and there is no subscription and no lock-up.

  • Core — Qualifying Balance of $10,000 or more

  • Premium — $100,000 or more

  • Private — $1,000,000 or more

  • Founders Club — by invitation only

Every tier includes staking, NFTs, Bron tags, the DeFi extension, hidden accounts, reporting, transaction limits, security policies, batch payments, digital inheritance, API access, free recovery, all supported blockchains and tokens, and an unlimited transaction amount.

The platform fee is the only fee Bron itself charges on swaps and Buy/Sell. Network (gas) fees and liquidity-provider spreads are separate and set by the market — see Swap Crypto and Buy & Sell Crypto with Fiat.

2. Qualifying Balance

Your Qualifying Balance is the value used to determine your tier. It is the USD value of all assets held across the accounts in your workspace, with some assets counted with a multiple:

  • $BRON counts 10× its USD value

  • PYUSD counts 2× its USD value

For example, $5,000 in BTC plus $600 in $BRON gives a Qualifying Balance of $5,000 + $6,000 = $11,000 — enough for Core.

Your current Qualifying Balance is shown on the Compare plans page in the Reach the next tier faster card. Click Show breakdown to see which assets and multiples make it up. It updates automatically within a few minutes of a deposit, transfer or price change.

💡 Your assets stay in self-custody and fully under your control. Nothing is locked: you can send, swap or withdraw at any time. The Qualifying Balance is simply what you hold.

3. Moving between tiers — Core is yours for life

  • When your Qualifying Balance reaches a higher tier's minimum, your workspace moves up automatically.

  • If it falls below your tier's minimum, your workspace moves to the tier your balance qualifies for.

  • Once your Qualifying Balance has reached $10,000, Core membership is yours for life, however your balance changes later.

💡 Tiers apply per workspace. Each workspace has its own Qualifying Balance, and assets in one workspace do not count towards another.

4. Why does Bron have a Qualifying Balance?

Bron uses MPC technology originally developed to protect digital assets at institutional scale. Unlike conventional seed-phrase wallets, MPC requires sophisticated infrastructure to operate and maintain. Rather than compromise the platform or monetise users in other ways, Bron uses a Qualifying Balance to determine membership.

5. The Trial

  • The 14-day Trial starts when you first receive assets into a new workspace — creating a workspace on its own does not start it.

  • During the Trial you use Bron with Core features and fees.

  • You don't have to wait for the Trial to end: as soon as your Qualifying Balance reaches $10,000, you qualify for Core (and for life), and the Trial is no longer needed.

Trial limits: up to 3 accounts, and a cumulative swap volume of $250,000. Once the swap cap is reached, further swaps are blocked until the workspace qualifies for a tier.

6. When the Trial ends

If you have qualified for a tier, you simply continue on it.

If you haven't, your assets remain protected by the same security architecture and available to send or withdraw at any time, but access to other platform features is paused. Your assets are never frozen.

7. Reactivating a Trial

Workspace owners can reactivate the Trial for 72 hours of full access — for example, to top up the workspace or fix setup issues. Click the "Your trial has ended" popup in the bottom-left of the workspace; the Reactivate trial button is at the bottom of the panel.

Reactivation is unlimited, but a security delay is applied each time:

  • 1st reactivation: immediate

  • 2nd: 1-day wait

  • 3rd: 2-day wait

  • 4th: 3-day wait, and one more day for each reactivation after that

Each reactivation grants 3 days of access, and the Trial resumes automatically once the delay ends.

8. Business plans

Business plans are built for organisations that need multiple accounts, team access and dedicated support.

To subscribe to Business, open the Business tab on the Compare plans page in the web or desktop app and click Subscribe (card payment via Stripe, monthly or annual). The subscription applies to the workspace that is open when you subscribe. For Enterprise, click Contact sales, or book a demo with our team.

Managing a Business subscription

  • Payment method: Settings → Plans and billing → Billing, then Change under your current card.

  • Invoices: Settings → Plans and billing → Billing, in the Invoices section.

  • Cancel: Settings → Plans and billing → Billing → Cancel plan, then confirm on the Stripe page that opens. There are no further charges, and the plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.

Bron never stores card details — payments are processed by Stripe.

9. Moving from the previous plans

Workspaces on the previous plans are being moved to the new tiers. When your workspace moves:

  • Essentials becomes Core, Pro becomes Premium, and Founders Club stays Founders Club.

  • You no longer need to hold a fixed amount of $BRON. Your tier is set by your Qualifying Balance, where $BRON still counts 10×.

  • A previous card (Stripe) or Google Play subscription stops renewing automatically. You keep access for the period you already paid for, and you won't be charged again.

  • An App Store (iPhone/iPad) subscription can't be stopped by Bron — cancel it yourself: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Bron → Cancel Subscription.

Until your workspace has moved, the Compare plans page shows the plan it is on now.

10. Recovery on a workspace with an ended Trial

If the workspace's Trial has ended without a tier, recovery cannot be completed on it. The correct sequence is:

  1. Unlock the workspace first — click the trial popup in the bottom-left and press Reactivate trial (72-hour window).

  2. Then continue the recovery flow (passkey replacement, guardian-assisted access restoration, Trusted Device Recovery, etc.). If the Owner has lost access and cannot unlock the workspace themselves, guardians performing recovery must wait until the workspace is reactivated — recovery actions will not finalise on a locked workspace.

11. Sandbox workspaces

Sandbox workspaces are free and don't depend on tiers or the Trial. A Sandbox workspace is meant for testing: if it holds more than $1,000 in mainnet assets, it gets a short 3-day trial, after which its features are paused until the balance is back under $1,000.
