Team Members

How to manage team members in your Bron workspace.

Updated over 2 months ago

Available Roles

Bron supports four main user roles within a workspace:

  • Owner: Has full permissions and full control over the workspace.

  • Member: Has most permissions but cannot manage the team itself.

  • Viewer: Ideal for accountants, lawyers, or anyone who needs to review or approve certain actions for security or reporting purposes.

  • Guardian: A special role used to help recover access to your account if needed.

Additional Permissions

Owners, Members, and Viewers can be granted additional permissions to handle critical actions in your account, such as:

  • Approving transactions

  • Approving transaction limit changes

  • Approving address book changes

  • Approving team member changes

  • Approving workspace settings changes

For more details about approvals, see Workspace settings and changes review.

Adding a New Team Member

To invite a new user to your workspace:

  1. Enter their email address.

  2. Assign their role and select the required permissions.

If the 'Approve team member changes' feature is enabled in your workspace, any action involving team members (including adding a new one) will only take effect after review and approval by another team member.

Once the action is approved, an email invitation will be sent to the specified address with a link to set up their account. The invited user must follow the link, set up their passkey, and accept the invitation to join your workspace. After that, the team member will be able to take any actions allowed by their permissions.

Editing and Deactivating Team Members

You can always modify the permissions of existing team members or deactivate a user in your workspace. If "Approve team member changes" is enabled, such changes will only take effect after review and approval by another team member.

Reviewing Changes

For more information about the review and approval process, see Workspace settings and changes review.
